Verdova joins leading harvest as Program Supporter

Verdova is proud to announce its enrollment as a Program Supporter of Leading Harvest, further demonstrating our commitment to delivering farmer approved, field-level data at scale across the agriculture industry.

Program Supporters help build a community of sustainable agriculture practitioners and support the ecosystem that supports the success of its Program Users – any organization or person that owns or has management authority for farmland and chooses to apply the Leading Harvest Farmland Management Standard to their operations.

“We’re excited to initiate this relationship with Leading Harvest and to be among its Program Supporters,” said Clay Sellmeyer, Head of Business Development at Verdova. “The program’s goals and clear standards align extremely well with our goals as a farmer-led data collector and connector to represent a network of growers first-party field-level data at scale."

Leading Harvest works with farmers, landowners, and investors at all scales to independently certify sustainable farmland management and provide support through education and training opportunities. These objectives complement Verdova’s goal of delivering clean, verified, field-level data at scale to create revenue-generating opportunities for farmers and better decision making for agribusiness. This work can ultimately help improve how data collected in crop production can be utilized in supporting farmer’s efforts in sustainability, verification, and data sharing to collaborate with the food, fuel, and fiber value chain.
