“So what it’s done is make companies hugely rich, which is fine. I’ve got no problems, but why would you not—throw me a bone, you know? Why can’t a farmer participate in giving his data, and getting paid for it?”
Verdova solves the constraint of standardization by building integrations with existing data systems and streamlining the process of cleaning and re-organizing data into a standard and consistent form.
Once organized into a consistent format, information can be aggregated across farm operations into robust data sets thereby satisfying the size requirements of large downstream buyers.
With an aggregated and standardized data set that can fulfill the critical mass requirements of downstream buyers, Verdova will initiate data sale agreements, providing growers with an array of data monetization opportunities.
